The Diploma in Music Production at Africa Digital Media Institute (ADMI) equips students with the creative, technical, and business skills required to succeed in the modern music industry. This programme introduces students to the full music production process — from songwriting and arrangement to recording, mixing, mastering, and distribution. Students train using Digital Audio Workstations such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, and Pro Tools, and gain hands-on experience with professional studio equipment including high-end microphones, MIDI controllers, synthesizers, and mixing consoles.

Kennedy Wathome is a Kenyan urban pop music producer, mix engineer, music director, and educator. He has garnered widespread acclaim for his works across the Kenyan music scene, with ten years plus of experience in the music production and sound field industries. His production works span commercial and non-commercial genres, including corporate and educational sectors. Wathome founded Pop Nation Entertainment, a company dedicated to providing opportunities for emerging artists in the music and sound industry. He aims to revolutionize the country’s music scene and entertainment landscape. Currently, Wathome serves as a head of department and core faculty member at the African Digital Media Institute, where he shares his expertise with young aspiring music producers and sound engineers through his teaching.\r\n\r\nHe holds a diploma in music and a degree in music technology, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in musical arts with a focus on music composition.
